De 25 a 30 de novembro, Thais França do CIES-Iscte recebeu a equipa Mapping out da Noruega no Iscte-IUL, em Lisboa, para uma semana de trabalho intensa e produtiva. Juntas as duas equipas preparam as apresentações que decorreram durante a semana, discutiram o avanço do projeto e as possíveis colaborações futuras. Esta foi a última atividade do projeto Mapping Out.
No dia 28 de novembro, realizou-se a conferência final “ The Centrality of Mobilization Against Migration in Europe: Why, How and to What Effect?” , teve lugar no ICS com Dr. Kristian Berg Harpviken (Prio, Noruega), dirigida a comunidade academica. Dr. Harpviken falou sobre a relevância que os discursos e mobilizações imigração assumem atualmente nas dinâmicas políticas e societais europeias.
No dia 30 de Novembro, no ISCTE, Dr. Harpviken conduziu uma sessão de policy brief para decisores e decisoras políticas, associações e especialistas em imigração em Portugal. A sessão “Mobilization Against Migration in Europe: Drivers and Impactss” abordou como as mobilizações contra a imigração tem evoluído, abordando suas causas e possíveis impactos.
The Norway team was with us once more!
From 25 to 30 November, Thais França from CIES-Iscte hosted the Mapping out team from Norway at Iscte-IUL in Lisbon for an intense and productive week of work. Together the two teams prepared the presentations that took place during the week, discussed the progress of the project and possible future collaborations.
This was the last activity of the Mapping Out project. On 28 November, the final conference “The Centrality of Mobilisation Against Migration in Europe: Why, How and to What Effect?” took place at the ICS. was held at the ICS with Dr Kristian Berg Harpviken (Prio, Norway), aimed at the academic community.
Dr Harpviken spoke about the relevance that immigration discourses and mobilisations are currently assuming in European political and societal dynamics.
On 30 November, at ISCTE, Dr Harpviken led a policy briefing for policymakers, associations and immigration experts in Portugal. The session “Mobilisation Against Migration in Europe: Drivers and Impacts” looked at how mobilisations against immigration have evolved, addressing their causes and possible impacts.
