A colaboração bem-sucedida da equipa do projeto Mapping Out, coordenada por Thais França (CIES-Iscte) e Kristian Berg Harpviken (PRIO, Noruega), permite o mapeamento inicial dos discursos anti-imigração no país. Os resultados preliminares serão apresentados nos seguintes eventos em junho de 2022 :
– No workshop Vozes Radicais na Direita, no dia 21 de junho, no ICS-IUL, com a apresentação da comunicação oral “Vozes da mobilização anti-imigração”.
– 19ª conferência anual da rede IMISCOE, nos dias 29 de junho e 1 de julho, em Oslo, no painel “Reaching Out to Close the Border: Understanding Mobilization against Migration across Europe” com a comunicação oral “A European exception? O ativismo anti-imigração em Portugal”

The successful collaboration of the Mapping Out project team coordinated by Thais França (CIES-Iscte) and Kristian Berg Harpviken (PRIO, Norway) enable the initial mapping of anti-immigration discourses in the country. Preliminary results will be presented at the following events in June 2022 :
• At the workshop Vozes Radicais na Direita, on the 21st of June, at the ICS-IUL, with the presentation of the oral communication “Voices of anti-immigration mobilization”.
• 19th annual conference of the IMISCOE network on the 29th of June and the 1st of July in Oslo, in the panel “Reaching Out to Close the Border: Understanding Mobilization against Migration across Europe” with the oral communication “A European exception? Anti-immigration activism in Portugal”
